These two. The entire session they joked about “this sure is an expensive fake engagement”. Their photos are filled with their laughter, and their joking, funny sides.
They met at UW-Whitewater, and currently both work in finance.
They met the first week in college in 2012 over a Disney Princess coloring book. Can you guess which 18 year old was coloring Disney? After that first week, Heather recruited Dan to help carry a new mini-fridge up to the third floor with her dad (fortunately that didn’t scare him too much!)
On August 5th, 2017 Heather was supposed to have dinner with her best friend, Ashley Prunty, but unfortunately she had to cancel. So instead Heather suggested Dan and her go for a walk at Veterans Park in Downtown Milwaukee. As they were talking and walking, Dan stopped in his tracks to kiss Heather and said “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you!” and got down on one knee and asked Heather to marry him!
And here we are! They chose Token Creek for the winter-ish atmosphere, even though in December, there was no snow yet. Dan helped plant a tree at Token Creek in his younger days. We tried to find that same tree. Anyways, enjoy these “fake” or “real” engagement photos and keep a look out for their November Wedding photos. :)
